Montpellier is easily reached by air (Montpellier airport, MPL) or by train into Montpellier St Roch Station (town centre) or Montpellier Sud de France (southern suburb of Montpellier). Montpellier is also well-served by highways running east-west and from the north.

Access by train: two train stations

Both Montpellier St Roch and Montpellier Sud de France stations are major stops on France’s high-speed TGV network and are connected to Montpellier’s tramway lines. Montpellier St Roch is only 10 minutes walk from the Corum conference centre, whereas Sud de France is about 30 min by tramway

Tram network

Montpellier's 5 tramlines are a quick and inexpensive way to get around. The trams run every 5-10 minutes and cover major areas and attractions (historic centre, universities, and the train stations).
